Marco and Syntax:
how it all began

Our contact with Marco as an adult athlete came about through Ivo Heuberger. We already knew Marco from his junior days within the tennis community. Today, Marco and Peter Kuratli share a deep friendship that has grown out of many years of support (since 2003) and shared values.

Marco joined the professional tennis tour in 2000. After many serious injuries, his career really took off in 2009, culminating in a semi-final appearance at the Swiss Indoors in Basel. This propelled him up to 52nd place in the ATP world rankings in 2010.

Despite recurring injuries, Marco continued to show his class time and again, achieving strong results both on the ATP Tour and as a member of the Swiss Davis Cup team, with which he reached the pinnacle of his career at the end of 2014 when they won the coveted trophy. At the end of 2017, following his retirement from professional tennis, Syntax published the book “MC: Mister Comeback” by Marco Keller and Peter Birrer, documenting Marco Chiudinelli’s remarkable career.

What characterises our partnership:
A love of sport, family and a deep and lasting friendship.

Marco Chiudinelli,
